2026 Clash of the Tartans Fundraiser

Every year Gordon College Athletics holds an intradepartmental fundraising competition.  This event is called Clash of the Tartans and this year it runs from February 4-6th.  Every donation made between now and February 6th goes to support the experience of the Gordon College Women's Basketball Team!  If you are looking for a worthy cause to support, please consider giving to our basketball program.  Every gift will support the amazing women in this program by creating experiences and opportunities they may not otherwise have.

Every dollar given is used to enhance the experience of our players.  We have several fundraising targets:

1. An international trip that will give our players experience pairing their faith with basketball in the context of another culture;

2. Travel expenses for an in-season tournament that is outside of our region (airplane flights, bus rental, hotels expenses, etc.);

3. Locker room upgrades and improvements;

4. A continual updating of our equipment and apparel needs beyond what is allocated in our program budget, examples:

* uniforms [$150/set]

* official basketballs [$100/ball]

* basketball shoes [at least $100/per set of shoes]; etc.)

* nutrition and hydration requirements for high level student-athletes

* Resources to create team building experiences and bonding opportunities
